I am 20-something public health grad student, raised in one of those states where they proudly proclaim themselves to be “the Buckle of the Bible Belt.”

I am in recovery after a pretty intense battle with depression and anxiety.

I am a Christian, a feminist, a dreamer, an introvert, a sometimes-musician-sometimes-poet, a researcher, a baker, and a damn good friend.

I am an INFP.

I am also a lesbian.

I started this blog because I was asking big questions about life and faith and how I fit into all of that, and I needed somewhere to put all of that out there, even if no one ever read it.  I’ve found answers (or at least the beginnings of answers) to some of those questions, but I think the writing is probably good for me, so I’ll try to continue.  After all, it’s cheaper than therapy!
